Strong support for large-bore device delivery

A taper-ground stainless-steel core provides proximal support, with a surrounding coil and an outer PTFE coating. Available in two diameters with pre-shaped curved and straight tips across 21 models.

Structure and features

A taper-ground stainless-steel core provides proximal support.

Under the same test conditions, a greater force required to bend the wire shaft by 5 mm indicates greater bending support, which helps support large-bore device delivery.

May be manually shaped once before use. The shape is permanent and must not be reshaped.

Tip denotes the thin, straight distal segment; a longer Tip means a longer soft-tip segment.

Pre-shaped curved tips must not be reshaped.

Used to guide other devices into blood vessels, establish percutaneous access for intravascular devices, perform intravascular positioning, or establish intravascular access.

Not for transseptal introduction of cardiovascular catheters into the left heart. Not for neurovascular use.
